Your personal information
Collecting your personal information
Oulala collects personal information, including but not limited to, your name, address, e-mail address and contact details. Personal information provided by you is used only for the purpose of fulfilling your orders and / or providing you with our product information.
The financial information we collect from you when we process your online credit card payment is collected on the DPS secure server that uses the latest encryption technology. Oulala do not have access to your full card number, this credit card payment is secured by DPS
This information is strictly confidential, and the only people who have access to it are the people processing your payment.
We take all reasonable steps to store your personal information securely. Information stored within our computer systems can only be accessed by those entrusted with authority and computer network password sanctions.
Personal information is de-identified or destroyed securely when no longer required by us. We give you our assurance that your personal details will not be used for any other purpose.
Using your personal information
Your contact information will only be used to send you the product that you purchase, and your billing information will only be used to bill you for that product. This information will in no way be used for marketing purposes – except if you check the box to receive the newsletter, nor will it be shared with any third parties.
Comments and community contributions
If you submit a comment or a review in any of our community areas (such as our online message board or on any of our social media sites) your first name and last name initial, e.g. Mary B, or your display name (if you have set one), is displayed with your comment. You can set up or change your display name on any online message board in your Oulala profile at any time as well as update or delete any comment made by you at any time. We strongly advise that you do not post your email address, home address, phone number or other personal information as part of your community contributions. You must at all times be courteous in all communications in our community areas and not post any statements or material which in any way infringes or violates the rights of others or which is offensive, illegal, defamatory, threatening, invasive of privacy, obscene, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable (“Offensive Content“). We are not responsible for any failure to monitor, review, edit or delete any content submitted to these areas. You agree that all community content provided by you is deemed to be provided on a non-confidential basis and that we have the right (but not the obligation) to remove or otherwise edit or delete any content that we deem in our sole discretion to be Offensive Content.
Security and storage of personal information
When you place an order online, your personal information and credit card information are scrambled using SSL encryption technology before being sent over the Internet.
