The colour is always of good intensity, limpid and brilliant, with ruby tints, with touches of purple when the wine is young. The nose is also intense and reveals a wide range of red fruits. This wine draws a lot of sensuality from its soil, with good consistency and a joyful texture. It is the most powerful of the wines born on the vast alluvial cone spread out at the outlet of the combes to the north-west of the village.
